Often referred to as bridge cranes, E.O.T cranes are a type of overhead crane characterized by parallel runways with a traveling bridge that spans the gap. Such cranes are widely used in warehouses, distribution centers and industries. Using such crane, anyone can transport heavy items anywhere needed in the facility.

Normally, with a double girder E.O.T crane, there are two girder beams that form the bridge. Trolleys and hoists are often attached to rails installed on the bridge girders. In terms of design, this type of crane can either run top or under. This crane with a top-running design provides the best overhead room and hook height.
